Alioscopy produces 3D lenticular photographs with unmatched depth and fineness, using highly accurate lenticular lens arrays manufactured in-house. The amazing life-like appearance of these 3D photographs entitle them to replacing unavailable pieces, when original copies cannot be exhibited for any given reason: availability, insurance and shipping costs, safety hazards, or when objects are too valuable to be moved for instance. Alioscopy 3D photographs are also helpful to show hidden perspectives and they are very convenient to present virtual objects or to operate scale changes.
Several museums in France and abroad use Alioscopy 3D photographs in their scenography or to replace missing pieces.
Alioscopy 3D photographs can also be used for event marketing and high end point of sale advertising. Their strong impact and attraction power favours message retention and increases product and brand exposure, innovation and performance awareness, as well as corporate technological values.
Alioscopy 3D photographs mix 60 slightly offset views of the subject, taken by a photo camera or rendered in CG. Alioscopy can handle the 60 view photo shoots in its Paris studio or on location. CG content can be generated by any CG animation studio complying with rendering rules provided by Alioscopy.
Format
Alioscopy 3D photographs can reach a maximum size of 99 cm x 70 cm in colour and 110 cm x 80 cm in black and white. Smaller sizes are also available by performing laser cut-outs within these formats.
The panels may be front-lit or back-lit.
